FAQ's

You pay a membership fee once a month. When you’re sick, you call us and and we’ll see you that day or the next. You can ask your doctor questions about your health anytime you need via secure text or email, and even video calls.

World of Wellness is medicine the way it was intended — a trusted relationship between doctors and patients without insurance companies calling the shots.

Preventative care and sick visits are included with your membership.

No. Concierge services often cost several thousands dollars more per year. Our goal is to keep prices fair with care that’s simple, accessible, personal, comprehensive, transparent, and most of all affordable.

Yes.  World of Wellness is not an insurance plan.  Your membership fees cover primary care services but don’t cover major surgery or hospitalizations.  In general, direct primary care practices pair well with high deductible health plans or medical cost sharing plans such as Zion Health.  We recommend you consult an insurance broker to decide what plan makes the most sense for you. If you do not have insurance, however, we will still be happy to take care of your primary care needs.

You’ll save money long-term by being able to select a less-expensive higher-deductible policy while remaining confident you can afford the routine medical care you need. You won’t feel the need to push off expensive visits. Getting care right away reduces hospitalizations, surgeries and emergency room visits, so you’ll be healthier, happier, and have more money in your wallet in the end.

No. World of Wellness is your primary care provider. We provide first-level, thorough, care that studies show can reduce your need to see specialists.

When the need arises, however, we will refer you to a doctor with the expertise you need to treat your particular condition, advanced diseases or manage your chronic pain.

World of Wellness coordinates with your specialists, hospitals, and OB/GYN providers to make sure the lines of communication are clear and your referral to a specialist is seamless.

No. You must still have the minimum coverage required by the Affordable Care Act at this time. However, we know that many patients have extremely high deductible policies and get little benefit from these plans as far as day-to-day care is concerned. Costs are skyrocketing and you need truly affordable care. World of Wellness bridges that gap for you.

Direct primary care medicine is growing rapidly. It is perfect for people without insurance, especially if they add a Health-Share plan. If you have a low-deductible “Cadillac” plan and don’t wish to submit to your insurance company yourself, it may not be the right model for you. Sadly, those plans are fast becoming history. The majority of Americans have high-deductible plans — insurance for catastrophes only.

If this is your current situation, World of Wellness is your perfect solution.
